Youghal Rotary Club was founded in 2003 and is one of over 70 such clubs in Ireland . Youghal Rotary comes under the umbrella of RGBI (Rotary Great Britain and Ireland) but Rotary exists in almost every country in the world. Rotary International supports and funds many international projects that offer health, education, water-aid, crisis aid and has funded polio eradication vaccines to the tune of millions of dollars. The Youghal Club helps and contributes to many of these international projects; contributing 1,000s of Euro to the polio eradication programme, in fact there are many, many more international projects that Youghal Rotary helps and supports.
The club membership consists of of approx. 30 persons. The Youghal Club, like the majority of Rotary Clubs, is made up of people from all walks of life and so within the club is a strong pool of professions with experiences to offer and to help people starting out in their careers or changing jobs. Over many years Youghal Rotary has undertaken many projects, both at home and abroad.
Locally, Youghal Rotary run many youth competitions such as The Young Writer, The Young Musician and The Young Photographer. In fact Youghal Rotary has run the The Youth Leadership competition for many years .

The Club meets weekly at The Red Store, North Main, Youghal at 6.30pm – visitors from near and far are most welcome.
