The twice award winning annual Youghaloween Spooktacular Festival takes place in Youghal from Thursday 24th October to Sunday 27th October.
Thursday 24th 5pm – 10pm, visit Millenium Park for The Forbidden Forest, inspired by Harry Potter! Entry is Free and no booking required. The forest is home to a wide and strange assortment of creatures. It is a dark and magical place and holds many secrets. Come and enjoy the magic of the Wizarding World. We are delighted to also announce a ‘quiet hour’ from 5.00- 6.00pm in the Park for those kids prefer a quiet space. Sponsored by Cork County Council and Pure Cork.
Friday 25th 7.30pm Watch as a gathering of witches perform an opening ceremony to welcome An Bean Uisce from her watery underworld to the haunted setting of the Mall Beach followed by a Spooktacular display of fireworks at 8.30pm
Saturday 26th Visit the Haunted Town Centre with a Leaky Cauldron Market. Entertainment all day long.
Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th Take a ghost tour through town. Visit the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Viking academy. Take a tour through the Florence Newton Museum. Visit The Deathly Hallow Hall and see if you can pass your exams.
Sunday 27th Children’s Halloween Party. Closing Ceremony on The Mall Beach. Hauntingly beautiful farewell to An Bean Uisce as she returns to her watery underworld under the supervision and protection of the Witches and Ravens of Youghal.
