The Youghal Medieval Festival one again invites you to step back in time in the majestic St Mary’s College Gardens & St Mary’s Collegiate Church, on Sunday August 4th 2024 – from 12 noon till 6pm for our now legendary “Medieval Festival Extravaganza”
From highly-charged battle re-enactments to incredible costumes and the chance to experience primitive medieval village living – the Festival is a colourful and fascinating celebration of the Medieval heritage of Youghal town. There’s something for everyone, including a demonstration of live falconry with beautiful birds of prey, Medieval workshops and plenty to keep tour younger visitors entertained and occupied all day. Plus, all events are FREE!
A delicious spread of fine artisan food stands will keep you fortified while you enjoy a spot of shopping at the unique craft market.
