Yew Wood Venues together with youghal.ie is thrilled to announce that Paddy Casey, he of the unique voice, will be in concert at St. Mary’s Collegiate Church on Friday June 21st. as we celebrate the arrival of IRONMAN.
One of Ireland’s most popular singer/songwriters, Paddy Casey has been on the forefront of the Irish music scene since topping the charts with his smash hits, Saints & Sinners, The Lucky One together with his single, “Everything Must Change” released in 2017.
In more recent times Paddy has shared the stage with U2 on their Vertigo Tour, he has had long sold out residencies in Dublin’s prestigious Olympia Theatre and the RDS. He has even been performed on the Hit American CBS Chat Show “The Late Show” with David Letterman.
After returning from the US Paddy began writing and recording at home. In November 2012 he released his first independent, long-awaited album ‘The Secret Life Of’. His first single, “Wait”, featuring the Shannon Gospel Choir, was released in May 2012. Paddy has been touring this album constantly in Ireland and abroad for the last few years with frequent visits to Australia, Europe and the middle East.
When back home on Irish shores the unique and much admired Paddy has played sold-out gigs in the prestigious Whelan’s Live bar and headlined the Temple Bar Trad-fest together with fellow Irish singer/songwriter, Mundy.
