Youghal Choral Society never fails to delight us with astounding evenings of musical entertainment. As we now say goodbye to Spring 2020, this evening of music and song will be no exception to what we have come to expect from Youghal Choral Society under the masterly direction of Patricia Whyte. Youghal Choral Society will be joined Lee Singers and many more special guests on the night..
The Lee Singers Group (formerly The Cork Airport Singers) was founded in 1986. They participate regularly in concerts, religious and fundraising events and also partake in Choral Festivals.. The group has a wide repertoire which includes pieces from the Negro Spiritual, Religious, Traditional, Pop and Light Operatic genres. They have performed in France, Austria, Spain and Whales over the past few years and have produced a number of CD’s
Youghal Choral Society has been very busy in recent years with concerts featuring the No. 1 Army Band of the Southern Brigade, the City of Cork Male Voice Choir and other renowned artists. It is eagerly anticipating another very special night on May 10th.
St Mary’s Collegiate Church is looking forward to giving a rapturous welcome to all involved.
