Maura Laverty, the multi-talented broadcaster, cookery expert, agony aunt and controversial writer,. She was a household name in Ireland for three decades and, in this play, is spirited back from the dead to face a live and online audience on a surreal TV show called This WAS Your LIFE’. She will cook recipes from her iconic cookbook, ‘Full And Plenty,’ and talk about her roller coaster life, The host will get her to reveal some of her darker secrets and the price she paid for her success. Fifty years after her death, how will a contemporary audience evaluate her recipes and the tumultuous life?
