Eileen McGoldrick is a Belfast born Artist who has been drawing and painting all her life. She trained in Belfast and at Birmingham Art College, and studied to be a Tutor at Oxford Brookes University.
“Painting is more than a passion, it is a necessity. The drive to explore different media and ways of making marks has created a very varied portfolio of work. The paints and the surfaces I choose, reflect my desire to create something unique and expressive of how I feel.
Youghal, with its fabulous sea and Landscapes, and its wide ever-changing sky has been a source of great joy, Capturing its great mood, colours and textures has been a great challenge, and one I hope to continue.
This is the motivation that allows me to explore, enjoy, fail and succeed. My other passion is teaching, and during my Exhibition, I will gladly share any of my methods with anyone who may want to explore their creativity. So please ask me anything you may wish to know during the exhibition”.
