Culture Night is an annual public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. On Culture Night, venues all around the island of Ireland open their doors for special and unique events and workshops, all FREE of charge.
Youghal Culture Night 2018 will feature an array of Arts and Cultural events throughout the town on the evening of Friday 21st September. Celebrating this wonderful evening, Yew Wood Venues is thrilled to bring you the following events at St. Mary’s Collegiate Church:
4.30 – 5.30: Youghal Lace Exhibition with ‘Youghal Lace – The Faces Behind the Lace’ – a short film bringing you inside the lace making rooms at the Presentation Convent, Youghal and showing the incredible detailed work by the women and children in making the unique and beautiful Youghal Lace.
5.30 and 6.30: Comhaltas le Ceol, Caint agus Comhrá with Liam O’Laochdha and friends.
6.30 – 7.00: Aoife Blake (Harpist)
7.00 – 7.30: Education and Training Board (ETB) Sewing Group Talk
7.30 – 8.15 : Youghal Choral Society – a selection of their wonderful choral works.
8.15 – 9.00: Shanty Singers
