Saturday 25th Nov. is a big day in Youghal’s Christmas Calendar with the arrival at 3.00pm , on Market Square, of dear old Santa Claus in his very distinguished Red Suit on board the matching red fire engine of Youghal Fire Service.
The town will be in festive form from 2.30pm onwards with magnificent party activities ranging from Mickey Mouse, Minion Characters, Youghal Pipe Band, Chatterbox Dance Troupe, Carol singers from Bun Scoil Mhuire and the list goes on and on. Santa will be in his Grotto from 3.00pm and he has a gift for all the children.
Oh yes, don’t forget you can post your letters to Santa in his special post box at Market Square, so get writing a nice newsy letter to Santa telling him all your Christmas secrets and wishes. One of Santa’s special elves will perform the Christmas Light Switch On at 5.00p and immediately afterwards lots more of the Elves will take all your letters from the post box and deliver them to Santa’s home in the North Pole, where he can have a good read of all the stories in private.
Its going to be such a great day of festive fun and one not to be missed.
