Youghal Choral Society never fails to present us with wondrous evenings of musical entertainment just as we say goodbye to Spring and welcome the Summer . This year is no exception as the musical greats of our Choral society present an evening choral and solo voice together with harpist Una Whyte. In the magnificent setting of medieval St Mary’s Collegiate Church, Youghal, Youghal Choral Society, under director Patricia Whyte, will be also be joined by the ECWW Childrens Choir and also the City of Cork Male Voice Choir.
The Society has been very busy in recent years with concerts featuring the Number 1 Army Band of the Southern Brigade, soprano Cara O’Sullivan and other renowned artists and is eagerly anticipating another very special night on April 28th.
The City of Cork Male Voice Choir is renowned for its versatility and dedication to good music and good fun. The choir currently has 35 members and celebrated its Golden Jubilee last year.
This will be an enchanting evening in the Collegiate Church with its exceptional natural acoustics.
