World renowned National Hunt Jockey and Youghal native, Davy Russell, together with his prized 4- legged partner, Tiger Roll, will visit Youghal, Davy’s home town at 6.00pm on Friday next 19th April. It certainly will be a Good Friday for anybody in town as our very own Champtions, Davy and the Tiger himself, will be welcomed in style and glory by Deputy Mayor of the County of Cork, Cllr. Mary Linehan-Foley, acting on behalf of the Mayor Cllr. Patrick G. Murphy.
The Davy and Tiger Roll Duo will pose for pictures underneath the historic Youghal Clock Gate Tower. There you can “Catch the eye of the Tiger, the champion , and you’re going to hear the roar” Our the famous pair will head to Memorial Park, for more adulation…and don’t they just deserve it….
