Under the stewardship of local community group, Youghal4All, the Moby Dick Festival 2019 is ready to rock it again this year. The festival, named to honour the famous 1851 novel “The Whale” by Herman Melville and the subsequent 1954 film” Moby Dick”, parts of which were shot in Youghal, will be simply spectacular.
Never a shortage of enjoyable family activities across the entire weekend, including an amusement park, live music and market stalls. We will have lots of opportunities to learn more about the filming of Moby Dick including an exhibition of photographs taken on the movie set. So why not visit Youghal this year from the 31st May to the 2nd of June, and be part of this fun….You will be so glad you called!
