Youghal’s community of sea swimmers will launch their book, ‘Saltwater Souls’ on Sat. 11th Nov. at 3.30pm at The Mall Arts Centre in Youghal. This joyous book offers the reader a glimpse into people’s lives as the swimmers share their own personal stories, reflections, photographs and artwork on why they choose to swim in the sea throughout the year.
‘Saltwater Souls’ celebrates the power of community as the swimmers nourish connecting with nature, connecting with people and connecting with themselves. This book will be enjoyed by both locals and diaspora as the reader is brought on a journey through time as memories and reflections of swimming in the sea are showcased in a collection of personal stories.
