In follow up to our earlier Press Release in relation to Portuguese Man O’War jellyfish on our beaches , we can confirm that a further 50 such jellyfish have been cleared from Youghal Beaches to-day. It is expected that a further influx of Man O’War will be on our shores tomorrow. Please exercise caution. We stress that these jellyfish can inflict severe stings – therefore we ask that you act sensibly and avoid all contact with the unwelcome visitors. We will keep you updated of developments.
