Youghal Medieval Festival is 13 years  old this year and we celebrate it as  ‘Festival of the Year’ (Chambers Ireland, Excellence in Local Government Awards) so it’s really no surprise that the the festival creates the  same  excitement  and anticipation that it held in year 1.    This year it was decided to bring forward the multi-award winning event by 2 weeks, giving everybody a chance to have a final hurrah of festive activities before preparation for “back to school“.    So it is all positive for this year’s activities, which will include:

Art & Craft Stands.
Living working blacksmith.

We have a wonderful new addition to our programme of visitors this year – “Farmyard in your Schoolyard” – watch out for the Alpacas wandering about!   All this together with some top quality food and craft producers. You  certainly won’t go hungry at Youghal Medieval Festival.
