Pianist Ivan Ilic in Concert

It is the great privilege of Yew Wood Venues to welcome internationally acclaimed pianist Ivan Ilic  St. Mary’s Collegiate Church for  this unique piano extravaganza.    Ivan is a concert pianist, born in Belgrade and educated in California.  Ivan took degrees in mathematics and music at the University of California Berkeley before moving to Paris in 2001. He then studied at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris, where he was awarded a Premier Prix.  The City of Paris sponsored his first recording.

Early career highlights included recitals at Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Ireland’s National Concert Hall, Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio, and the American Academy in Rome. He recently gave recital débuts in Vienna, Sao Paulo and Geneva.
He has released many critically acclaimed CDs, including 24 Préludes by Claude Debussy (2008), 22 Chopin Studies by Leopold Godowsky (2012), and For Bunita Marcus by Morton Feldman (2015). All are regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and RTÉ Lyric FM
